A Wrinkle in Time
Meg Murry (Storm Reid) is a typical middle school student struggling with problems of self-worth who’s desperate to match. As the daughter of 2 world-renowned physicists, she’s smart and distinctively talented, as is Meg’s younger brother Charles Wallace (Deric McCabe), but she’s yet to recognize it for himself. Making things worse is that the baffling disappearance of Mr. Murry (Chris Pine), that torments Meg and has abandoned her mommy (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) heartbroken. That (Oprah Winfrey), Mrs. Whatsit (Reese Witherspoon) and Mrs. Who (Mindy Kaling)-who’ve journeyed to Earth to help look for their father, and together they set off on their own powerful pursuit. Traveling by means of a wrinkling of space and time called tessering, they’re shortly transported to worlds outside their creativity where they need to face a strong evil. To turn it back to Earth, Meg should look deep inside herself and adopt her defects to exploit the strength required to conquer the darkness closing in on them.
