Crooked House
In Agatha Christie’s most perverted narrative, the questionable circumstances surrounding the departure of a rich patriarch is explored by spy-turned-private-detective Charles Hayward (Max Irons), who’s enticed by his former lover to capture her grandfather’s murderer until Scotland Yard exposes dark family secrets. About the sprawling estate, amidst a noxious atmosphere of bitterness, jealousy and bitterness at a really crooked home, Hayward experiences three generations of this dynasty, for example a theatre actress (Gillian Anderson), the older man’s widow 50 years his junior (Christina Hendricks), along with also the family matriarch Lady Edith p Haviland (Glenn Close).
