Free State of Jones
The plot of this movie moves around the era of civil war and time period after it. In 1863, during the Civil War, Newt Knight, a farmer from Mississippi, works for Confederate Army as medic because he want to help wounded people instead of fighting with anyone. However, he decides to return back to his home to his son and wife to take care of them after death of his nephew in the battle. Things do not go as per his plans and he is declared traitor due to which he has no other option left but to flee when he finds a group of the slaves that are hiding in swamps. To be with them means being part of the some rebellion that is going to change the history.
