Joy is a semi-biographical 2015 American comedy-drama movie directed and written by David. Joy is the story of the women, who rose to become matriarch of a family business. Joy Mangan is a self-made millionaire who made her own business domain. Mangano was a divorced lady having two children in the mid 1990s. The movie is inspirational and semi-fictional portrayal of how a divorced lady Mangano overcame professional and personal hurdles and rise to the height of the success. Joy’s stepsister, Peggy always insults her in front of her children. Joy’s best friend Jackie and her grandmother always encourage her to achive his ambitions and become a successful lady. Joy’s fierce imagination and inner life carry her through the difficulties and challenges.
