Setup artist Miranda Fall follows, photos and records the lives of strangers to make her artwork. 1 night her secret fan witnesses a violent action from Miranda’s apartment window. To protect his identity, Miranda presents as the most important witness, making statements to the authorities about a crime that she didn’t even see. She starts to make a new bit of work, based on these conditions. This concurrently selfish and selfless act sends Miranda to a maze of uncertainty and anxiety, blurring the lines between subject and artist. Lines of morality blur and nothing is as it sounds in this fascinating exploration of individuality, voyeurism and lack of self.
