The Book of Henry
Sometimes things aren’t always what they appear, particularly in the tiny suburban city at which the Carpenter family resides. Single suburban mum Susan Carpenter (Naomi Watts) functions as a waitress in a diner, along with feisty family friend Sheila (Sarah Silverman). Taking good care of everything and everyone in his own distinct manner is Susan’s old son Henry (Jaeden Lieberher), age 11. Protector to his loving younger brother and tireless supporter of the frequently self-doubting mommy – and through investments, of their household as a whole – Henry blazes during the days like a comet. Susan finds the household next door, that comprises Henry’s type classmate Christina (Maddie Ziegler), has a dangerous secret – and that Henry has invented a sudden plan to provide help. As his brainstormed rescue strategy for Christina takes shape in stimulating manners, Susan finds herself in the middle of it.
