The Mermaid
The Mermaid is a 2016 Chinese science-fiction comedy movie coordinated, co-composed, and co-delivered by Stephen Chow. Deng Chao plays the role of businessperson who experiences passionate feelings for a mermaid.
Tycoon Liu Xuan is working on sea project and buys a wildlife reserve named Green Gulf, and uses sonar innovation to dispose ocean life. Merpeople live in the Green Gulf and due to the sonar technology, a large number of people die or become ill. The couple of survivors live in a deserted wreck in the bay and desire to kill Xuan for his deeds. The merfolk send a lovely mermaid to kill Xuan. Xuan, keeping in mind that Shan is a whore, calls her number with a specific end goal to make his business accomplice desires. They spend the time together and create affections for each other. Xuan is shocked when he goes to Shan’s home to converse him with her, and finds the reality that that they are the merpeople.
